Text2Resume is an AI resume builder and job application platform. You write, an AI agent assists, and you approve every change before it applies.
What Text2Resume Does
Text2Resume combines a resume editor, AI chat agent, style controls, and job tracking in one workspace. You can build a resume from scratch, import an existing one, tailor it for specific jobs, and export it as a PDF — all without leaving the app.
Your Workspace
The workspace has four main areas:
- Editor Canvas (center): Your live resume preview on an A4 page. Click any section to edit it directly.
- Chat Panel (right sidebar): Where you talk to Rezzy, the AI agent. Ask it to write bullets, restructure sections, or research companies.
- Style Panel (right sidebar, toggle from chat): Controls for fonts, colors, layout, spacing, and margins.
- Job Hub (left sidebar): Import jobs, search LinkedIn, track applications, and tailor your resume to specific roles.
Credits
Text2Resume uses a credit system. AI actions like editing with Rezzy, running audits, and researching companies cost credits. The cost depends on which AI model you choose (Haiku is cheapest, Opus costs the most).
These don't cost credits:
- Manual editing (typing directly into your resume)
- All style panel changes (fonts, colors, layout, spacing)
- Importing jobs by URL
- Exporting to PDF
Quick Start
- Import your resume — Upload a PDF or DOCX, paste your LinkedIn URL, or start from a role template.
- Edit with Rezzy — Ask the chat agent to rewrite bullets, add skills, or restructure sections. Approve each change before it applies.
- Style it — Pick fonts, adjust spacing, choose a layout. Use a preset or configure everything manually.
- Target a job — Import a job posting, fork your resume, and tailor it for that specific role.
- Export — Download as PDF, save to Google Drive, or copy to clipboard.
