Job Import

Bring jobs into Text2Resume so you can tailor your resume for each role. Paste a URL, search LinkedIn, or browse companies.

The Job Hub

The Job Hub lives in the left sidebar. It stores imported postings, saved searches, and active applications in one place.

Import by URL

Paste the URL from any supported job board and Text2Resume extracts the details.

  1. Open the Job Hub in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Import Job and paste the job posting URL.
  3. Text2Resume scrapes the page and pulls out the structured data.

What gets imported:

  • Job title and company name
  • Location (remote, hybrid, or on-site)
  • Salary range (when listed)
  • Full job description with requirements

Supported Job Boards

24+ boards work out of the box: LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, BambooHR, iCIMS, Jobvite, SmartRecruiters, Taleo, Paycom, Paylocity, JazzHR, Rippling, CEIPAL, ZipRecruiter, and more. If a board isn't supported yet, paste the job description text directly.

In-App Job Search

Search LinkedIn without leaving Text2Resume.

  1. Open the Job Hub and switch to the Search tab.
  2. Enter a keyword (e.g., "frontend engineer"), location, and optional date filter.
  3. Browse results and import any job with one click.

Company Search

Company search finds a specific employer, shows basic info, and lists their open roles. Import any role directly into your Job Hub.

What Happens After Import

Once a job is in your Job Hub, you can start an application. Starting one forks your base resume into a job-specific copy you can tailor to that role. See the Starting an Application guide for the full workflow.
